Liz Claiborne Design Scholarship:
”Protective Performance”
This portfolio was submitted to the CFDA as a candidate for the Liz Claiborne Innovative Futures Scholarship.
This deck focused on textile innovation that improved the mental and physical wellness of the wearer, post pandemic. By implementing amethyst and tourmaline crystals into active wear, this textile will convert sweat particles into negative ions. These negative ions can then be absorbed by the body and naturally increase serotonin levels, balance muscular activity, and increase the body’s natural ability to fight chronic illness.
